We reveal a quantum geometric origin of EMCA using a chiral rectangular lattice model, showing that the quantum metric plays a key role in enhancing the nonlinear response.

Demonstrates magnet-free spin generation in a semiconductor using chirality-induced spin selectivity (CISS) with chiral molecules interfacing Au and n-doped GaAs.
Published in Physical Review B, 2024
We reveal that Eu-based Zintl compounds host a hybrid-order topological phase with coexisting gapless Dirac surface states and chiral hinge modes, exhibiting surface-dependent quantum geometry.
Published in Physical Review Research, 2024
We report two types of 3D higher-order saddle points in Co-based kagome metals with strongly enhanced density of states and an extended flatband near the Fermi level.

This review provides a modern framework for understanding how quantum geometric quantities—such as the quantum metric, Berry curvature, and quantum connection—govern nonlinear responses in quantum materials.

Co-developed QMBench, a domain-specific benchmark of LLM capabilities in quantum materials research with expert-level tasks across structural, electronic, symmetry, thermodynamic, and DFT domains.

We predict a series of magnetic topological materials for magnet-free nonreciprocal thermal radiation in the infrared, finding strong and broadband nonreciprocity in magnetic Weyl semimetals (e.g., Co3Sn2S2) and establishing universal design rules tying nonreciprocity to the anomalous Hall response and optical loss.

We show that the small residual orbital magnetization—long dismissed as irrelevant—governs the intrinsic anomalous Hall effect in altermagnets via the generalized Středa relation, and reveal a crystal-field/spin-orbit mechanism that generates this net moment in MnTe-type altermagnets without invoking Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction.
