We show that the small residual orbital magnetization—long dismissed as irrelevant—governs the intrinsic anomalous Hall effect in altermagnets via the generalized Středa relation, and reveal a crystal-field/spin-orbit mechanism that generates this net moment in MnTe-type altermagnets without invoking Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction.

We predict a series of magnetic topological materials for magnet-free nonreciprocal thermal radiation in the infrared, finding strong and broadband nonreciprocity in magnetic Weyl semimetals (e.g., Co3Sn2S2) and establishing universal design rules tying nonreciprocity to the anomalous Hall response and optical loss.
